Announcing our Partnership with The Linux Foundation
We are proud to announce that we have partnered with The Linux Foundation (LF), enabling any project under the LF umbrella to leverage Scarf for enhanced insights into their usage and adoption patterns. Through this partnership, we aim to facilitate growth and informed decision-making for open source projects.
Product Updates:
- Streamlined Package Creation for Telemetry Use Cases: Now, crafting a package without redirect for telemetry use cases is even more straightforward. Simply navigate to the "Create a package" section and opt for the file package option. You'll find a new checkbox for "No gateway redirect".
- Introducing X-Scarf-IP Header: Now, you can easily override the IP from which the events are being sent. X-Scarf-IP takes precedence over any other header, ensuring a straightforward way to determine the remote address according to your preferences.
UI Improvements:
- Adding Day Count to Company Activity Page: Now, on the Company Activity page, you can see a quick overview of how many active days a company has alongside points under each adoption funnel stage.
- Simplifying the Billing & Subscription Experience: We've removed the Billing & Subscription tabs, and we've switched to Stripe for a smoother billing process.
- Adding 2FA and Email Verification: We've bolstered security in your Scarf account by adding Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Email Verification. While 2FA is an optional feature, we highly recommend activating it for an added layer of protection to enhance the security of your account.
