# That 2024 wrap-up Scarf-up we sent you is accurate

Scarf explains how customers can verify their 2024 open source usage recap, including total events, companies, and Fortune 500 engagement.

We had a huge year in 2024. By the end of it, we had processed over 10 BILLION open source events. In celebration of that milestone, we sent all of our customers an email recapping their open source usage for 2024. We included total events, unique users, number of companies, and number of Fortune 500 companies interacting with their open source projects.

By and large, the response that we have gotten has been…. 👀

We used a SQL query to automate this process, but you can easily get this information in your Scarf account to verify what we sent, or to calculate this data on your own at any time. 

Depending on how you have Scarf set-up, you may need to add some things together. 

Want to know how many F500 companies have interacted with your project? 

Let’s walk through it. 

**Total Companies:**

Here is an easy one to verify. Log into your Scarf account and go to the Organization you want to dig into, if you belong to more than one. Select “Insights” in the top navigation bar. Use a custom date range of 01/01/2024 - 12/31/2024, and you will see the total number of companies interacting with your project at the bottom of the page.

**Fortune 500 Companies:**

Paid customers can also check how many US500 companies interacted with your project in 2024. Using the same custom date range, select the US500 filter to see the total.
